The ReliaRing mobile app turns your smartphone into an extension of your business phone system. You make and receive calls using your business number — not your personal one — so your mobile stays private while you stay reachable anywhere.
What you can do with the app
- Make calls from your business number. The people you call see your business caller ID, not your personal cell number.
- Receive your business calls wherever you are, with a push notification when a call comes in.
- Get your voicemail and listen to messages on the go.
- Send and receive business text messages (where your plan includes messaging).
- See your call history and call people back with a tap.
- Show your availability to teammates so they know when you're reachable.
Which app do I need?
- iPhone and iPad: the ReliaRing iOS app. See Setting Up the ReliaRing App on iPhone and iPad.

Both apps are free for ReliaRing customers — there's no extra charge to use them.
App vs. the mobile web portal
You can sign in to the ReliaRing portal from your phone's web browser too, which is handy for quick account tasks like checking invoices or updating settings on the go. But for calling, the app is the way to go: it's built to receive calls reliably in the background and wake your phone when a call arrives, which a browser can't do dependably.
Use the app for calling and messaging, and the mobile browser when you just need to reach a settings page.
Getting started in three steps
- Install the app from your phone's app store — see Setting Up the ReliaRing App on iPhone and iPad or Setting Up the ReliaRing App on Android.
- Sign in with your ReliaRing email and password.
- Allow notifications and microphone access so incoming calls ring and callers can hear you.
That's it — you're ready to make your first call.
A note on emergency (911) calls
Calling 911 from a mobile app is different from calling from a phone tied to a fixed address. Emergency services rely on the address registered for your number to know where to send help.
