Understanding Your Wallet
Everything in ReliaRing runs through a single prepaid wallet. Here is exactly how each type of charge is handled.
Monthly Subscriptions
If you have monthly plans — ReliaRing phone system, ReliaFax, or ReliaForward — the subscription fee is automatically deducted from your wallet on your billing date.
Example: Your ReliaRing Professional plan costs $109 CAD/month for a team of up to 10. On your billing date, that amount is deducted from your wallet. If your balance is too low, you are prompted to add funds.
Usage-Based Charges
Calls, SMS, faxes, and other usage is billed in real time. As you use services, the cost is immediately reflected in your wallet balance.
How it works:
- Call starts — system checks your balance
- During call — balance is held/reserved
- Call ends — amount deducted, rounded up to the next 6 seconds
- Insufficient funds — call will not connect (you are warned first)
Low Balance Alerts
Never be caught off guard. We notify you when your balance drops below your configured threshold.

Notifications at 50%, 25%, and 10% of your typical monthly usage.

Billing FAQs
Common questions about how billing and your wallet work.
Outbound services (calls, SMS, faxes) pause until you add funds. Inbound calls still come through. You receive multiple warnings before this happens, and auto-refill prevents interruption entirely.
Unused prepaid balances are non-refundable under our Terms of Service. The credit stays on your account and never expires, so it is still there if you come back. Where we do issue a credit at our discretion, it is applied to your account balance rather than paid out in cash.
Log into your portal, go to Billing, and click Add Funds. Credit and debit card deposits are instant. Bank transfers (ACH in US, EFT in Canada) typically settle within 1–3 business days.

Your wallet matches your account currency — CAD for Canadian accounts, USD for American accounts. All charges are in your account currency with no conversion fees.
