Terms of Service

Clear terms for using ReliaRing business phone services. Last updated: January 1, 2024

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using ReliaRing's business phone services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our Services.

These terms apply to all users of the service, including without limitation customers, browsers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content.

2. Service Description

ReliaRing provides business phone and communication services including but not limited to:

  • • Voice calling and telephony services
  • • Voicemail and transcription services
  • • SMS and messaging capabilities
  • • Call management and routing features
  • • Mobile and desktop applications
  • • AI-powered receptionist services
  • • Integration with third-party business tools

3. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to:

  • • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • • Maintain and update your account information
  • • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • • Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including:

  • • Harassment, abuse, or threats against any person
  • • Spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or telemarketing
  • • Illegal activities or violating any applicable laws
  • • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise our systems
  • • Sharing accounts or credentials with unauthorized parties
  • • Using automated systems to make excessive calls

5. Billing and Payment

Billing terms for ReliaRing services:

  • • Services are billed monthly in advance
  • • Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date
  • • Late payments may result in service suspension
  • • All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
  • • Usage charges (if applicable) are billed monthly in arrears
  • • We accept major credit cards and ACH payments

6. Service Level Agreement

ReliaRing provides services with the following commitments:

  • • 99.9% uptime guarantee for voice services
  • • 24/7 customer support availability
  • • Response times: Critical issues within 1 hour, other issues within 24 hours
  • • Service credits may apply for downtime exceeding our SLA

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data and communications in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

The ReliaRing service, including all software, text, images, and other content, is owned by ReliaRing or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use our Services for your business purposes in accordance with these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

ReliaRing's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We shall not be liable for:

  • • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • • Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control
  • • Third-party integrations or external service failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate service with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate your account immediately for:

  • • Violation of these terms
  • • Non-payment of fees
  • • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • • Abuse of our systems or services

Upon termination, you remain responsible for all charges incurred through the termination date.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • • Email notification to your account email address
  • • Notice in your account dashboard
  • • Posting updates on our website

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through:

  • • Good faith negotiation as the first step
  • • Binding arbitration if negotiation fails
  • • Courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, Canada for certain matters
