Mass notification

Tell everyone at once. Know who heard you.

One message goes out by voice, SMS, and email together. Recipients acknowledge it, and you get a list of the ones who did not — while consent, quiet hours, and opt-outs are handled for you.

Works on its own. No phone system required, and your first sending number is free.

Credits

One pool of credits. Three ways to spend it.

Every plan includes a monthly pool. Each channel draws a fixed, published amount — so you can work out a month on paper before you buy anything.

Voice call

2 credits

per 30 seconds connected

We call, read the message aloud, and ask the recipient to press 1. Metered on connected time and rounded up to the next 30-second block. A call nobody answers costs nothing.

Text message

4 credits

per 160-character segment

A message under 160 characters is one segment. Past that it splits into 153-character segments, and each one draws its own credits. Replies come back as acknowledgements.

Email

1 credit

per recipient

The cheapest channel, and the one people read last. Opens are tracked, so email acknowledgement is weaker evidence than a press-1 or an SMS reply.

A 140-character text to 500 people costs 2,000 credits. Reaching the same 500 people with a 30-second call costs 1,000. By email it is 500.

Estimate

Work out your month.

Set your list size and how you send, and this does the same arithmetic our billing does. Nothing here is rounded in our favour.

Compare the plans

Voice is metered on connected time, so a recipient who hangs up early costs less than this estimate. Unanswered calls cost nothing. Credits beyond your plan bill at your tier's overage rate.

Acknowledgement

“Sent” is not the same as “received”.

A broadcast that nobody confirms is a broadcast you cannot act on. Every send tracks who acknowledged, who did not, and when — and you can re-send to only the second group.

For an evacuation or a shift callout, that list is the whole product.

What counts as proof

  • VoiceRecipient presses 1
  • SMSRecipient replies
  • EmailMessage opened

An email open is inferred, not confirmed. Where it has to hold up, use voice or SMS.

CASL and TCPA

The rules are the hard part. They are already built in.

Canadian anti-spam law and the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act both govern what you may send, to whom, and when. ReliaAnnounce enforces that at send time rather than leaving it to whoever is on shift.

Consent, tracked per contact
Every contact carries its consent state and where it came from. Marketing-style sends are blocked without it. Emergency and transactional notices are not.
Quiet hours, honoured by default
Sends outside local quiet hours are held until morning. A genuine emergency can override them, and the override is recorded against the send.
STOP and HELP, handled for you
Opt-out keywords are processed the moment they arrive and the contact is suppressed everywhere. You do not maintain the list; we do.
Coded messages
Send a phrase your people have agreed on in advance to trigger a response without putting sensitive detail on an open channel.

Read the messaging policy for what we will and will not carry.

Built for the message people have to receive.

Not campaigns. The notice that has to reach a shift, a school, or a street before it matters.

Students walking through an open school corridor

Schools and campuses

Closures, delays, and lockdowns to parents and staff — with a list of who has not acknowledged yet.

An empty clinic corridor with signage at the far end

Healthcare

Fill an open shift, reach on-call staff, or send a facility alert with an audit trail you can produce later.

A lineworker in a boom lift working on a utility pole

Utilities and municipalities

Outages, water advisories, and crew callouts to residents and field teams on the channel each one actually checks.

Property managers, unions, and faith communities use it the same way — a list, a message, and a record of who received it.

Plans

Pick by contacts. Then check the credits.

Your plan sets how many contacts you may hold and how many credits arrive each month. Go over the pool and the extra credits bill at your tier's rate.

Questions people ask first.

What is ReliaAnnounce?

A mass notification service. You write one message and it goes out by phone call, text message, and email at the same time — to a staff list, a member list, or a whole community. Recipients confirm they got it, and you can see who has not.

Do I need a phone system or another ReliaRing service?

No. ReliaAnnounce stands on its own. You sign up, import your contacts, and your first sending number is provisioned free inside the portal.

How do credits work?

Each plan includes a pool of credits that refills monthly. Sending draws from it: one credit per email, four per 160-character text segment, and two per 30 seconds of connected call time. If you exhaust the pool, further sends bill at your plan's per-credit rate rather than stopping.

What happens if nobody answers the phone?

Voice is metered on connected time, so an unanswered call draws no credits. A recipient who hangs up after ten seconds costs one 30-second block, not the whole message.

Is it compliant with CASL and TCPA?

Consent is tracked per contact, quiet hours are honoured, and STOP and HELP keywords are processed automatically. Marketing-style sends are gated behind consent. Genuine emergency notifications can override quiet hours where the law allows, and the override is recorded.

Can I send without getting to a computer?

Yes. Dial-in send gives you a dedicated number to call from any phone. You authenticate, record the message, choose the group, and send.

What is a coded message?

A phrase your people have agreed on in advance that carries an instruction without stating it. It lets you trigger a known response over an open channel without broadcasting sensitive detail.

Send your first broadcast today.

Import a list, write the message once, and let us adapt it for voice, SMS, and email. Fourteen days free, and your first sending number costs nothing.
