How quickly can I get started?

International numbers take 1-2 business days, and a ported number keeps running on a temporary local number until the transfer completes.
Can I forward to my cell phone?
Yes. You can forward calls to any phone number in the US or Canada — cell phones, landlines, office phones, or even VoIP services. With our Professional and Business plans, you can set up multiple destinations and rules.
What happens if I don’t answer?
With our Professional and Business plans, you can configure what happens when you’re busy or don’t answer — forward to another number, send to voicemail, or play a custom message. Voicemails are sent to your email.
Do you support toll-free numbers?
Yes. Our Professional and Business plans let you choose a toll-free number in place of a local one. Every plan includes exactly one number — if you need more, each additional number is its own add-on subscription.
Can I forward calls internationally?
Yes. International forwarding is an add-on and includes 50 international minutes — see the add-on price under Plans. We cover 95+ countries, and the per-minute rate depends on where the call goes.
What about text messages?
Every plan forwards texts sent to your ReliaForward number to your email. On the Business plan you can have them sent to another phone instead, so they arrive as normal texts.
Can I port my existing number?
Yes. You can port your existing business number to ReliaForward. US numbers typically take 3-5 business days and Canadian numbers 5-7, depending on your current carrier. You get a temporary local number to use immediately, so your line is live while the transfer runs.
