Our story
Built by people who've been doing this since before VoIP was cool
In 1999, our founder Michael Somerville architected and deployed Canada's first nationwide VoIP network using Clarent Technologies — and helped lobby the CRTC for the regulatory approvals that made VoIP legal in Canada.
By 2005, the network had expanded to 84 cities across the United States. In 2008, Michael founded Tridacom IT Solutions in Canada to bring that deep telecom expertise directly to Canadian businesses.
ReliaRing is the next chapter: a modern, transparent platform that puts that infrastructure knowledge behind a service that's actually simple to use.
