Find your symptom below.
"Invalid access PIN" or "Incorrect meeting PIN"
Every meeting has a six-digit PIN, and the host needs it too — it is not only for guests. Check the meeting in the portal for the current PIN.
"Meeting PIN is required"
The link was shared without the PIN. Send both together.
"Too many PIN attempts. Please try again in 15 minutes."
Five wrong PIN attempts locks that person out for fifteen minutes. Wait it out, and confirm the PIN before trying again.
"Conference is not active"
The meeting has not been started yet. Someone on the account has to open it and start it — a scheduled meeting does not start by itself at its scheduled time.
"This meeting has ended" or "Meeting not found or link has expired"
Guest links do not outlive their meeting. Once a meeting has ended, its link stops working. Schedule a new meeting and send a fresh link.
"This meeting has reached its participant limit"
Six people are already connected. Six is the maximum for every meeting on every account. Someone has to leave before anyone else can join. For a larger group where video is not essential, use a dial-in conference bridge instead.
"Could not reach the media server to open this meeting"
A service-side problem, not something you can fix from your end. Try once more, and if it persists contact support with the meeting name and the time you tried.
Nobody can hear or see me
- Check the browser asked for camera and microphone permission and you clicked Allow. If you dismissed it, the permission prompt is usually reachable from the padlock icon in the address bar.
- Check the right devices are selected in Video Meetings → Settings.
- Check you are not muted — and that Mute on Join in your settings is not turning your microphone off every time.
- Close other applications that may be holding the camera.
My video is choppy or keeps freezing
- Use a wired connection if you can.
- Close large downloads and other streaming.
- Lower Maximum Bandwidth in Video Meetings → Settings. A steady, lower-bandwidth picture is better than a stuttering one.
I cannot record
Only the person who created the meeting can record it. If you did not create it, ask the host.
My recording says "Processing" and never finishes
A recording normally becomes available within a few minutes of the meeting ending. If one stays on Processing for much longer, it will not clear on its own — the upload step is not running, and only ReliaRing can restart it. Contact support with the meeting name and date. The recording is not lost.
I cannot send chat messages
Chat works only while a meeting is live. Before it starts or after it ends, messages are refused.
I turned on the waiting room and nobody can get in
There is currently no screen for admitting people from a waiting room. Turn Waiting Room off when scheduling, and use the meeting PIN to control who joins.
