ReliaFax is online faxing for your business. You send and receive faxes right from the ReliaRing portal or from your email inbox — no fax machine, no dedicated phone line, and no busy signals to babysit. Incoming faxes arrive as clean PDF files, and everything is stored securely in your account.
If you still deal with pharmacies, law offices, insurers, or government agencies that fax, ReliaFax gives you a modern way to keep up without the old hardware.
What you can do with ReliaFax
- Send faxes by uploading a document in the portal, or by emailing it as an attachment.
- Receive faxes into a fax mailbox, delivered to your email as a PDF.
- Add a professional cover page from a set of ready-made templates.
- Share a fax line across a team using fax mailboxes.
- Track every fax with delivery status, page counts, and downloadable copies.
How it works
Each ReliaFax line is tied to a fax number and its own plan. When someone faxes that number, we receive it on our network, convert it to a PDF, and drop it into the matching fax mailbox (and email it to you, if you have email delivery on). When you send, we take your document, dial the recipient's fax machine, and handle the back-and-forth automatically — retrying if the far end is busy.
Getting started in 3 steps
- Add a fax line. Go to Fax → Inbox and click Add Fax Line, or use the subscribe flow. Choose a plan, then pick a new number, transfer an existing one, or use a number already on your account.
- Send a test fax. From Fax → Inbox, click Send Fax, enter a recipient fax number, and upload a PDF. Watch it move from Pending to Completed in your Outbox.
- Set your preferences. Visit Fax → Settings to set your Station ID (the name that appears on the fax header), pick your default fax line, and turn on email notifications.

ReliaFax is for documents, not voice. A ReliaFax line cannot place or receive phone calls, and it cannot be used to dial 911. If you need voice calling or emergency dialing, that comes from ReliaRing, ReliaTrunk, or the standalone E911 product.
