Managing Payment Methods and Auto-Pay

Updated July 22, 20263 views0 found helpful

Add or remove credit cards and bank accounts, choose a default payment method, and turn on automatic top-ups so you never run out of balance.

Keeping a valid payment method on file means your service keeps running without interruptions. This guide covers adding cards and bank accounts, choosing a default, and setting up automatic payments.

Add a payment method

  1. Go to Billing → Overview.
  2. In the Payment Methods card, select Add Payment Method (or use Manage Payment Methods under Quick Actions).
  3. Enter your card or bank account details in the secure form and save.

Your details are handled by our secure payment processor — ReliaRing never stores your full card number.

You can save more than one payment method, including credit cards and bank accounts (ACH in the US, pre-authorized debit in Canada).

Choose your default

When you have more than one method saved, one is marked Default. The default is what we use for wallet top-ups, auto-recharge, and one-click invoice payments. To change it, open the payment method and set it as default.

Remove a payment method

Open the method you want to remove and delete it. If you only have one method saved, add a replacement first so automatic charges don't fail.

Auto-pay (auto-recharge)

Auto-recharge automatically tops up your prepaid wallet when the balance runs low, so calls and texts never get cut off.

  1. Go to Billing → Wallet (or open Auto-Refill Settings from Billing → Overview).
  2. Turn on Auto-Recharge.
  3. Set the balance level that triggers a top-up ("When balance falls below").
  4. Set the amount to add each time.
  5. Save.

When your balance drops below the level you chose, we automatically charge your default payment method for the amount you set. You need at least one saved payment method to turn this on.

Paying invoices automatically

Subscription invoices are charged to your default payment method. Keeping a valid default on file — and turning on auto-recharge for your wallet — is the simplest way to avoid missed payments and service holds.
