The Settings area is where you fine-tune ReliaRing to work the way you like. This guide walks through what's there and what each part does.
Open Settings from the sidebar. Across the top you'll find tabs: General, Notifications, Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Recording, Audio, Alerts, and Fax.
General
The General tab has its own set of sections:
- Account Information — your company name and regional settings (time zone, language, currency).
- Caller ID — the number and name shown when your team calls out. You can pick a main office number and, as an admin, set a default for the whole organization.
- Security & Privacy — change your password, turn on two-factor authentication (2FA), and set an auto-logout time.
- Active Sessions — see the devices signed in to your account and sign out any of them (or all other devices at once).
- Notifications — quick access to your notification preferences.
- Integrations — connect contact sources like Google Contacts and Microsoft 365.
- Preferences — display options such as theme (Light, Dark, or Auto), date format, and time format.
Security tip: Turn on two-factor authentication early. It's one of the best ways to keep your account safe.
Notifications
Choose which email and text alerts you receive — for example missed calls, new voicemails, and billing notices. Some security alerts are always on. Manage your personal alerts under Settings → Notifications.
Voicemail
Set your voicemail PIN, record or upload a greeting, and turn on extras like voicemail-to-email so a copy of each message lands in your inbox. You can also record a greeting from any phone by dialing *98.
Call Forwarding
Set rules for when calls should ring elsewhere — always, when you're busy, or when you don't answer — so you never miss an important call.
Recording, Audio, and Alerts
- Recording — recording-related preferences for your calls.
- Audio — pick your microphone, speaker, and ringer device, and test each one.
- Alerts — preferences for account and usage alerts.
Fax
If you use ReliaFax, the Fax tab holds your fax preferences.
A note on admin vs. personal settings
The Settings area covers your personal experience and everyday call handling. Account-wide administration — company profile, users and roles, single sign-on, and branding — lives under Account in the sidebar and is available to admins. Developer tools like API keys live under Developer.
